The new Skoda Fabia Scout has launched in the UK
We were a little underwhelmed when the Skoda Fabia Scout was revealed, and we really haven’t changed our minds. We can’t argue that Skodas don’t offer great value for money - and they are very well bolted together – but the Skoda Fabia Scout seems to lack the substance to substantiate its promise. Based on the Skoda Fabia this is a ‘butched-up’ version featuring a raised ride height, added chunky bits of plastic and looks like it will be a great little crossover estate.

The new 2014 Kia Sorento has been unveiled ahead of its debuts in Korea and Paris this autumn. It’s the third-generation of Sorento, and doesn’t deviate far from the format of the previous two crossovers. The new Kia Sorento is quite distinct from the Sportage, with a more American/Asian design vibe; it was designed in the Namyang studio in Korea.
Mercedes has announced its new A-class hatch will start from £18,945 for the entry-level petrol A180 in the UK, rising all the way to £28,775 for the A250 in 'Engineered by AMG' trim. Which engines power the new Mercedes A-class? The base A180 gets a 1.6-litre petrol four-cylinder with 120bhp.
